Tennis Anyone?

Tennis anyone?  Well here's the blog I promised.  If you got a question or two about your game, I'm here for you.

As you know by now, and if you've played against me, I thrive on competition.  The stronger the better.  Why?  Because the better you play, the more fun I'll have too.

You see, Champions are born in the labor of defeat.  I believe you can be as good as you want to be.  Practice, Practice and more Practice will make the difference.  When you are not practicing, somebody, somewhere else is practicing, and that is the person who will beat you.

And it just as well be me!

Want to see your game surge? Visit here often, and put these suggestions to use and practice them often.

Hey, anytime I'm on the court and there is a lull in play, I'm volleying or trying to get my opponents to hit me some balls.  Why don't you?

Hey tennis is not that difficult to learn, honest!   Ask Rod, Amrit, and yours truly.  We've taught ourselves to play with the opposite hand.  It makes it a but more competitive when you're pitted against little more than novice players.

"Is this fun or what?

By the way, thanks to all of you players who have signed the petition to the City Council, and the Raleigh Recreation Department for our request to set-aside [on a permanent basis] courts 13, 14, 15 [as tournament-like challenge courts].

We are hoping to present our petition soon.
